Dashboard#
The dashboard renders Host state; it does not execute provider CLIs in the browser.
Before you start#
- Host and terminal-host services are healthy.
- You have a fresh one-time dashboard invitation.
- The browser reaches the configured HTTPS origin or SSH tunnel.
Use the navigation to create sessions, inspect recent work, review projects and machines, and open approvals or activity. Search filters the recent sessions already loaded; it is not a global event or repository search.
For a new session, confirm the machine, repository, provider and access posture before launch. Open terminal panes only for the repository intended by the session.
Verify#
Refresh the browser and confirm the authenticated session survives while a used
invitation cannot be reused. Compare dashboard session state with
syndicate session list on the host.
If it does not work#
| Symptom | Check | Recovery |
|---|---|---|
| The invitation URL is rejected | Whether it was already used | URLs are single-use and short-lived; generate a new one |
| The dashboard loads but every action is refused | The dashboard origin the Host is configured with | See Browser access |
| The invitation cannot be generated | Whether the Host is reachable locally | See Start with doctor |
| The page is reachable from a machine you did not expect | Host binding | Do not weaken Host binding to make access easier — see Browser access |
